Dear Kendall County Woman reader,

This issue is just too much fun.

Yes, I might say that with all of the issues, but REALLY, this one is a lot of fun! Our cover feature, Andra Wisian is an absolute delight. With a varied background covering volunteer work to high-level professional accomplishments, Wisian has truly done it all. Her impact locally and beyond is profound and I so enjoyed getting the chance to tell her story this issue.

Beyond that, we hope to introduce you to a lot of great information for this holiday season. With Dickens on Main back for this year (thank goodness), we have the schedule of events for the weekends, as well as some great recipes for a variety of dishes (and desserts) that you might want to try with your friends and family.

I always love to feature our Young Entrepreneurs, and I hope that you enjoy this issue’s young man, Ethan Thornton, who is really blazing his own trail locally with his iron works business. Our “fashion section” is also a great introduction to our friends and clients over at “Under the Fig Tree” who have done a tremendous job with their new retail location and are offering some amazingly wonderful clothing, hats, and accessories.

There’s more in this issue, but I’ll leave you to enjoy.

As always, I’d like to encourage you to contact us with your story and profile ideas. Almost all of the content in this publication comes from you, the readers. From the kids that are starting their own small businesses, to the professional women of our area that are truly changing the world, we love to hear from you. Shoot us an email. Give us a call. But don’t be shy! Let’s celebrate the wonderful people of Kendall County and shine the spotlight on those that make this area truly a remarkable place to live!

Sincerely,

Peggy Schooley
